The name Akina Healing Arts comes from "akina" being an Ojibwe word meaning "all" or "every". Healing needs to take place on all/every level (body, mind, spirit). The Anishinabe knew that there was much more to healing that what is seen with the eyes. They believe that if you heal the spirit the body and the mind will also heal. Massage does a lot to heal the spirit, the mind, and the body.

Welcome to Akina Healing Arts Mobile Massage

Even if it's just for an hour, that's an hour of your life when you feel good and are doing something great for yourself.

Akina Healing Arts is a small mobile massage business in southern Maine serving clients in their homes and businesses throughout York and Cumberland counties.
Services are available by invitation or referral from an established client or medical/wellness provider and are not available to the general public without it.

Services offered:

Direct auto-insurance billing for accident recovery
Rehabilitative massage at home for injuries
Salon/spa style massage at home
Seated therapeutic massage at your workplace (for yourself, co-workers, employees, or waiting customers)
Wellness massage in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting
Complimentary massage or Reiki for your loved one in hospice
